Refund policy

 

Order processing time

Orders are filled in the order they are received and will not ship until payment has been received by the Homemade Kombucha Co.

The Homemade Kombucha Co. reserves the right to hold orders until payment is received, or cancel any outstanding orders at the Homemade Kombucha Co.’s complete discretion.

Once payment is received we will strive to process all orders within five business days (Monday to Friday - excluding holidays). However, orders that include a SCOBY do require substantial time to produce the order - it is reasonable for the order to take 7-10 business days before being processed and dispatched to you.

The Homemade Kombucha Co. will always do its best to communicate with you about the status of your order and expected delivery date.

Cancellation & order changes

Once an order has been accepted and dispatched for shipping, no cancellations or modifications are possible. If you wish to add to your order once the initial order has been processed, Homemade Kombucha Co. reserves the right to treat any addition as a second order incurring additional shipping charges.

If Homemade Kombucha Co. deems that we cannot fulfil an order - we may cancel the order at our complete discretion and issue you with a full refund.

If the Homemade Kombucha Co. has indicated to you in writing that the order will exceed a processing and dispatch time of more than 10 business days - you may cancel your order and receive a refund.

Refund Policy

Products (excluding SCOBYs) may be returned to the Homemade Kombucha Co. within 7 business days of purchase provided that they are new, unused and in condition for resale in exchange for a full refund less any shipping charges.

You are responsible for the cost of returning any products to the Homemade Kombucha Co.

You are responsible for the insurance and condition of any products returned to the Homemade Kombucha Co. A refund will not be issued for any goods that were returned to the Homemade Kombucha Co. but damaged or lost in transit. For this reason, we recommend you insure any items you return, at your own expense.

A SCOBY cannot be returned and cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

If any product you receive has been damaged or is defective - please contact us directly so we can assist.

Product availability

At Homemade Kombucha Co. we maintain high standards in all our brewing processes to deliver you the highest quality SCOBYs. Although our goal is to fulfil 100% of orders, given the perishable nature of a SCOBY, from time to time products may be unavailable as stock levels are rebuilt or due to other circumstances beyond our control.

The Homemade Kombucha Co. may cancel and refund any orders that the Homemade Kombucha Co. deems undeliverable.

The Homemade Kombucha Co. does not accept liability for any orders placed that are not fulfilled.

Resellers

Customers wishing to purchase Homemade Kombucha Co. products for resale purposes must seek approval from the Homemade Kombucha Co. beforehand.

By purchasing from the Homemade Kombucha Co. you agree to a non-compete with the Homemade Kombucha Co. regarding the sale of Kombucha SCOBYs & Kombucha brewing accessories and agree that any breach of this agreement deems you liable for damages.

Charge reversals

Any charge reversals instigated through a financial institution by the customer for any delivered goods will be disputed at the customer’s expense unless they have purchased shipping insurance.
